The owner of the castle asks Nancy to come to Germany to investigate, but she soon finds that she may well be following in the footsteps of the girls who were whisked away by the monster years ago. However, there is a slight problem - the monster has been sighted. The game is set in a German castle which is preparing for an annual celebration - a celebration of the fact that the legendary monster that supposedly plagued the castle in centuries past. I have enjoyed all of them, but "The Captive Curse" was especially enjoyable, in my opinion. I've played all but the newest of the Nancy Drew games.
